3 WAYS TO SPRING CLEAN FOR SELF CARE
Spring is a time for restoration, renewal, and fresh starts. I challenge you to put yourself first on your to do list this Spring. Let's take advantage of the warmer weather and longer days to re-evaluate our habits and make more time for ourselves and the things we love to do!
1. Buy yourself some flowers - Everything is in bloom, so what better way to add some color and sweet sweet floral scents to your home or office.
2. Spend time with the ones you love - For many of us fall and winter have become synonymous with hiding out and hibernating from the cold and oft unpleasant weather. As a result we miss out on time to spent with family and friends. With the changing of the weather, longer days, and more outdoor activities, Spring is the perfect time to re-connect with your friends for regular brunch meet-ups and romps about town!
3. Declutter & clean - They don't call it spring cleaning for nothing! Spring is the perfect time to declutter your home space, your mind space, and your spiritual space. Take mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual inventory of the the things that no longer serve you and create a system to begin unloading the baggage. Clean out your fridge, get rid of old paperwork, buy some new bed linens, discard those old clothes you haven't worn in years, seek out a therapist, make time for mediation, pay off old debts, or take up a new yoga practice. Just do whatever it takes to clear out the old and usher in the new!
